• Increasing prevalence of unregistered dietary
supplement products being illegally sold via online
channels.
• Reduced global competitiveness due to high costs of
doing business.
• Irresponsible, loosely made claims against the
consumption of dietary supplement products despite
the strict regulatory frameworks imposed on and
adhered by industry players.
