Modern lifestyle trends will continue to persist unabated.
The solution therefore necessitates better management. In
the context of malnutrition, implementation of a two-
pronged strategy is often observed:
• Firstly, ensure that proper nutrition intake is adhered.
• Secondly, ensure that nutrition is fitted to individual
lifestyle demands.
The second strategy addresses the fact that certain lifestyle
demands are unavoidable and may require additional
nutritional supplementation beyond the standard
requirements. With technologies enabling the process today,
this has given rise to trends such as personalized nutrition.
