2018. Vitamin C and Multi-vitamin/
mineral products were the two most
dominant product segments,
combining for nn% of the vitamin and
mineral supplements market.
Vitamin C products maintains pole position in 2018 with a
market share of RMnnn million, or nn.n% of the total vitamin
and mineral supplements market. It is closely followed by
multi-vitamin/mineral products, with a market share of
RMnn million or nn.n% of the total vitamin and mineral
supplements market.
Calcium is the single largest mineral-centred product
category, with a market share of RMnn million in 2018 (nn.n%
of total vitamin and mineral supplements market). In
vitamin-centred product categories (aside from Vitamin C),
Vitamin B-complex products have the largest market share
at RMnn million (nn.n% of total vitamin and mineral
supplements market).
Iron intake in Malaysia is relatively low, despite the
prevalence of iron deficiency among Malaysians. Market
share of iron products is estimated at around RMnn million
